The only resource you will ever need to launch your digital events programs.
Today is a glorious day. After four months of writing, editing, and distilling what we have learned over the years about community building, experiential marketing, conferences, and digital events, the finished product is finally here. Today, we release Digital-First Events, a comprehensive manual about launching events online that people *actually* want to attend. I know my mom is eager to buy a few copies for our family.
My co-author, Joep Piscaer and I wrote this book for you and anyone that is embarking on the journey of building a digital program for their community. Our goal with this book is that it will serve as a framework as you dive into building your own digital-first events and conferences. The book is laid out as a step-by-step guide starting from ideation to the finished program. We even sprinkled in personal insights and tips throughout the book. Here are a few examples:
Designing with empathy means always putting your attendees at the heart of all decisions.
We learned to alternate between high-caliber, condensed content and more light-hearted activities. Do not be afraid to offer a balanced mix between the two.
With the knowledge gained from this book and your experience, you will be equipped to not only create beautiful digital-first experiences, but also be able to apply these learnings to hybrid and, hopefully, in-person gatherings in the future.
You can learn more about the book and the authors on our Leanpub page! Joep and I wrote this book independently, without a publisher, so your purchase means a lot to us.
We cannot wait to see what you all build and how you push the boundaries for creating engaging community experiences.
